Up to speed

Jeez, its hard to put a few years of studying into a simple post… hate list as much of the next guy, but here it goes:

  • Functional programming;
  • Object oriented programming;
  • 2D art (stick man is art? Right?)
  • 3D art;
  • Cinema and visual effects (watching movies still count?);
  • On-screen interactivity (yeah game, applications and stuff on-screen);
  • Off-screen interactivity (real world, you know before Kinect was the new kid on the block);
  • Mathematics;
  • Server-client mechanics.

My accomplishments:

  • Sinaps is a personal web CMS that I build from scratch because all other CMS were too slow;
  • Zend Certified Engineer PHP 5 that I got while building previous iteration of Sinaps;
  • Pulsions (2010), Technical Director and Lead Programmer of the show & installations – partnership between UQAT and Cirque du Soleil.

I now currently work as lead programmer for a small design agency name KiwiCréation in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec – Google map that city, yes that city in north Canada, and yes we do have Internet. I’ve adapted Sinaps for the specific needs of fast web development and it work pretty well. I hope to release it to my Google Code repository one day when my boss will let me.

I try to post everything I build in my Google Code repository. It’s my way of repaying my debt to the Open Source communities.
